Does anyone know the number of the Zex kit that everyone has been using on the Gen 3's? May get that at the same time and dyno test all of it.

I didn't know that "everyone" was using it (I was under the impression that N2O wasn't incredibly widely used on our GenIII's (although I have to admit that I hope to be picking up the kit within the next few months.)

The kit you're looking for can be found here . Click on "Nitrous Oxide Systems" in the right hand column and then click on "Competition Cams Zex Nitrous Systems". The part you are looking for is CCA-82011 .

I've been thinkin of adding a purple bottle to my SHO also, but the way our intakes are dessigned would it just suck all the N2O into the first 2 cylinders? Also, do you have to upgrade fuel pump and injectors?

I guess by saying everyone, I figured most would have the common sense to know that I meant the people that were using nitrous. I also would recommend that since you guys don't realize that there a more than a few running it, that maybe you would do a few more searches. Then go to V8SHO for the whole article on nitrous. Then check my post about the V8 SHO drag race and see a Gen 3 run a 13.84 1/4 mile run on the bottle while out running a Lightning.

Me personally, I am not too worried about running it. I already have the cat-back, CAI, VAK and the tranny has been rebuilt stronger. Within the next two weeks, it will be welded, chipped, and hopefully on the bottle. I think I may only use the 50 shot to start with and maybe even the 75. Do not plan to go higher than that though.

Regardless, thanks for the number. I will be getting it at cost but I needed the correct part number first.

I believe the ZEX kit for the Gen III is actually the Mustang kit, NOT the 82011 kit.
I have a feeling that the two kits are nearly identical, but the kit profiled and used on V8SHO.com is the 82011.
