Yo polishers

I know there are many of you who polished your intake , i also did. my question is about your stock rims. mine are looking like they have seen a few roads. has anyone polished their slicers? im thinking about this task. if you have done this , can you supply a pic or 2? also if you polished your intake , what grit did you end with? i stopped at 1500 , just curious how much better it would look with a higher grate? say 5000 or higher? ty
