How hard is it to change these out? I have these on order and I want to be sure I can do this without totally messing up the casing ...

Thanks!

Very easy. Either remove the entire emblem from the car (chrome trim and all) or leave it on and remove it.. ..either way, just heat up the eblem to soften the glue, use a small flathead screw driver, jewelers size and carefully pry it out. Very simple task.

The emblems are held in place by an adhesive on the back of the chrome shell. The emblem is held into the chrome shell by an adhesive also.

Heat gun would be good, but if you wanted to just play it safe use a hair dryer.

Yes, and be careful with a screwdriver or whatever near the paint. If you're removing the entire badge you should probably put a little masking tape or something to lessen the scratch factor. Or just pry the Ford out of the chrome oval while it's on the car.

Al Fitz's emblems do not already have a sticky backing? William Lewis' have an adhesive on the back already.

Mine from Al Fitz did have the adhesive backing. I think the previous poster was maybe talking about re-sticking the Ford emblem back on.
