dang seafoam worked good. I had crapy idle hess... below 4g boggin all gone.I put some in gas, intake line (suction), and maybe 2 oz in oil (afraid of vaporlock) shes soooo much better i had to turn down idle adjust screw it was alittle high. I have never adjusted that ever. She smoked like heck for a wile, my question is i got alot of smoke(seafoam) from my y-pipe area coming up the firewall behind motor and from below car by the cats any ideas what that was thx.

Thats not an idle ajust screw. The idle is not ajustable like that. You have to follow the idle set procedure. There is a sticky on that or do a search. As far as the smoke, I have never used that stuff but if you ask me I'd say maybe your cats are plugged up, especially if thats the original Y. I would still think that it would only come out your tailpipe as long as there are no leaks in your exhaust.

yes, thats not an adjustment screw. put it back to where it came from. mine has a little yellow paint on it showing where. but not sure if all have that or not. honestly, now really sure what that screw is for, but it shouldnt be touched. if you have idle issues i would just reset your computer. that should prob do the trick. if not, maybe you have an issue w/ your iac.

Mine has the paint marks also. Just go to the "How do I" section and you'll see idle procedure. Just put the screw back to where it was first.

That little screw is the throttle plate limit screw. Do not mess with it, it will screw up the computer's control of the idle. That screw keeps the throttle plate from slamming into the sides of the soft aluminum throttle body. The air needed for idling the motor should only go through the idle air bypass and under the metering commands of the PCM. Put those screws back to where they were and lock them down with the locknuts.
