Without a scanner, can you read the codes for a CE light on a 1998? If you can, is there a list online that I can check to find out what the different codes mean?

Thanks!

No you need a scanner or your friendly AutoZone monkey.

www.V8sho.com has a list of the codes but it isn't accurate.

Get the code and I can get you the diagnostic procedure or at least get you started in the right direction.

Thanks for the info. I will let my coworker know that he needs the scanner. I was kinda hoping it was like my Gen2, where you could just jump a connection and the light would flash at you.

Thanks again
