Heres a couple ideas....one dark, one light...

15% All around

35% All around

I personally think 20% all around is perfect, but then again I dont know what laws you have for your state or what your tastes are.
Plus I think the same all around looks better than different percentages on different windows....anyway, hope this helps.

I've got 5% all around. Florida only allows 35% up front. You can always find a tint shop that will do whatever you want for cash. However, you should only do this if you're willing to pay the tickets that will eventually ensue.

I'll take pictures when I get home. I have a black car, so it basically looks like someone forgot to stop painting when they got to the windows.

It's very hard to see in the rearviews at night. I sometimes have to roll down my window.

I have 35% all around, our laws in Ohio are 50%. I believe this is plenty dark enough, yet doesn't attract attention from the cops. I've been pulled over twice and they've never said anything about it. In my opinion, no matter what you do, make it the same all around. I think it looks very tacky when it's darker in the back and lighter in the front. Thats just my opinion.

I had (I think) 15% on my '95 (see NeedAPartsCar's ride) and it was very tough to see out the back especially at night.

I've got 25% on the backs and 35% on the fronts now, and I like it much better, although it is still hard to see out the back if there isn't a lot of light around at night.

i got 20% all around, it is enough to prevent people from seeing in at a distance, although you can see shapes moving around up close or when their is light shining into or from the car. It's also low enough to keep police from looking at me or bothering me. According to Iowa law any tint up front is illegal, but they arent too picky about enforcing it.

Mine's got 35% up front and had 20% in the back when I got it. I put another layer of 35% on the back windows and it looks better. Not really hard to see out of at all. Professional window tint is much better than crap you can get at a parts store.

Before:
NikonPhotos010

After:
NikonPhotos001
Not really that much darker. It was sunny out that day though. I guess the back window needs more tint now :p

If your fronts are even one shade lighter, it greatly reduces the possibility of getting pulled over...

Back when my slicers were still white, and I had a whole hood:

This is 5% on the back half, and I believe 50% on the front. Maybe it's closer to 35%. The shop wouldn't go darker than that on the front, but considering visibility restrictions, I wouldn't want more. I think anything darker than 10% or so in CA is illegal. I've never been pulled over for it though.
