Not really when you can still get new rear mounts.

Is your new mount for the SHO $13.00?
If not, then your comment is rediculous.
I don't notice any quippy and self serving comments from the other vendors on this forum. How come I am hearing them from you, and you alone?
Think about your above comment, and how that reflects on you and your company.

Hey Matt...

Does that mean new mounts from Ford? Or...?

I take it that front mounts are not available any longer.

The rears are the only ones made by the aftermarket. I think Ford still has them as well.

There are no more fronts that are new.

Actually we do not sell new rear mounts, only rebuilt ones. You can buy new rear mounts from any auto parts store.

I am just saying it dosent make much since to modify a different mount when perfectly good units are avilable at parts stores.

As the pictures posted above show they are not even close. The work to save the few bucks will quickly go away.

That mount will not work . And the comment on not turning in a core is very ignorant IMHO . I work at a parts counter many hours a week , I can't believe when people get upset about a core . a company is performing a service for you that you cannot obviously do and you act like they are out to get over on u make millions on your busted near worthless part that are the very reason places like that are in buisness to be able to provide you with parts at all . How bout if there was nobody making front mounts at all what would u do with your Sho then ? A core charge is a VERY simple concept . Not a snake water gypsy scheme to get your money . Buy a mount and be thankful they don't ask for more considering there are only a 2-3 places selling them .

Btw I have both front and rear mounts from shosource and and very satisfied with them . I don't notice any more vibrations or things that people say they don't like about them.

The bottom bucket on this mount looks very similar to the SHO. And the bottom buckets are what rust away and render a mount "unreinforcable". If nothing else, this is a $13 bottom bucket with rubber that you can put your arms on and reinforce to your hearts content...eurethane, bolts, whatever...But as stated, SHO rear mounts can be had new so it's a non-issue. Unless you can use this mount to rebuilt a front mount that has a rusty bucket.

Tell me this...Are the bottom buckets the same front and back on the SHO? If so, here's new ones.
