Why would this happen???

Ok, this is weird, yesterday I took off my DIS cleaned it all up.. then I put it back on,
and the light never came on... I drove for a while, and after a couple trips to different
places it came back on.. The grease on the DIS was dry, could this have anything to
do with the anti-locks?

DIS stands for distributorless ignition system. This module has nothing to do with the anti-lock braking system. The "grease" was heat sink compound, a thermally conductive paste to help the heat from the DIS transfer to the cooler intake manifold.
