Just a show of hands, who thinks they are gonna make it to the Fall run this year?
I'm planning on it.

I hear ya Dale! But it might be worth the trip anyways just for the SHO commradere! I took my sho to the first run last year, on stock suspension, and it wasn't TOO bad. Just have to make sure to brake in plenty of time! LOL! I know the a/c system can be a fund bleeder, but try and make it..I am hoping for a turnout record this time. How many did we have last time Scott? Or anyone? Martin?DHMag:
umphf...well, if i can get my valve cover gaskets changed, new struts on, and a new A/C system put on before then, ill be there. oh..and buy all this while paying off 5 credit cards :| . im WAY too stressed out to even THINK about heading out on the Fall Run right now....
Consider putting off the A/C system till it starts getting hot next spring. Winter will be upon us soon, and that's what I'm planning to do with my silver SHO.DHMag:

i would Martin but in the winter time, the A/C is used for defrost, and id like to have it (even though snow and ice in TX is rare...and if it does happen, it aint there long).Consider putting off the A/C system till it starts getting hot next spring. and JEREMY...i WILL be going...my car can make it as is, but id like to do some of the work before i go, this weekend ill be doing the valve cover gaskets. i was getting ready to do my 120K service and found a reciept for the car, showing major service done 3 years/15K miles ago (timing belt, water pump, t-stat, replaced a few electrical components...in short, a revised 60K service). im relieved to find that receipt but i have all these parts now..anywho...about those credit cards....![]()

Aww, just gotta be tough!! My first truck I drove for 2 years without A/C..I just used heat to defrost the windsheild, and it worked great.Originally posted by FordLover:

Even durring the winter, I run in vent mode almost all the time, since I don't like the compressor running and zapping power and fuel economy from the SHO.
