Just a show of hands, who thinks they are gonna make it to the Fall run this year?
I'm planning on it.

I hear ya Dale! But it might be worth the trip anyways just for the SHO commradere! I took my sho to the first run last year, on stock suspension, and it wasn't TOO bad. Just have to make sure to brake in plenty of time! LOL! I know the a/c system can be a fund bleeder, but try and make it..I am hoping for a turnout record this time. How many did we have last time Scott? Or anyone? Martin?

I'm planning on it as well.

I just need to lock in a date with work, so whenever it's official, please let me know asap.

Well the OFFICIAL date is Nov 2nd and that is what Martin and I decided. It will give us the opportunity (nearly 2 months) to get all the shos primped and running right, and whatever else you guys need to do to it..I am STILL waiting on my order from IPT to have some surprises to show you all!! wink Can't wait to see you all and meet new faces!

Consider putting off the A/C system till it starts getting hot next spring. Winter will be upon us soon, and that's what I'm planning to do with my silver SHO.
Yep, november 2nd.

i would Martin but in the winter time, the A/C is used for defrost, and id like to have it (even though snow and ice in TX is rare...and if it does happen, it aint there long).

and JEREMY...i WILL be going...my car can make it as is, but id like to do some of the work before i go, this weekend ill be doing the valve cover gaskets. i was getting ready to do my 120K service and found a reciept for the car, showing major service done 3 years/15K miles ago (timing belt, water pump, t-stat, replaced a few electrical components...in short, a revised 60K service). im relieved to find that receipt but i have all these parts now..anywho...about those credit cards....

Glad to hear it D! My car's interior is in about 10 pieces in the closet at my house. So I have quite a bit of work to do myself. Starting with the VSS sensor and radiator. But I WILL be there!!

Aww, just gotta be tough!! My first truck I drove for 2 years without A/C..I just used heat to defrost the windsheild, and it worked great.
Even durring the winter, I run in vent mode almost all the time, since I don't like the compressor running and zapping power and fuel economy from the SHO.
