Bored now
Time for a mid-winter freshen on your fine ride, and I'm just the person to do it
Besides, I over-extended a little bit for the holidays and I need the extra cash PRONTO
$120 for a 3-step refinish on anything but huge, black trucks (if you have one of those, contact me
)All work is done with a high-speed wheel; I'll compound the car with a light-medium grade compound, glaze it and then a final wax for protection. Car will look amazing when I'm done. Also, SHOforum gets $10 for every job
I'm free this weekend (13-14)and next (20-21). I'll come to you as long as you have a garage with at least a little bit of heat. I'm ok with traveling a few hours, but for the long-distance runs I'm going to need a little extra for fuel, depending on where you're at.
If you think you'd like to wait until spring for the work, consider this: For those in the salt belt, you need the most paint protection now. And it's not just about a wax job... a rough finish will catch and hold nasty contaminants much easier than a smooth finish. Think of your paint like an ice rink before a hockey game. The surface is nice and smooth, and things will easily slide right off it. After some heavy use, the surface is gouged, scraped, and full of nearly invisible scratches that not only make the car look bad, but they catch and hold all kinds of stuff (like industrial fallout, fuel, tar, road debris etc.) Such items, if left untreated, can lead to paint damage. Time to call the zamboni driver to heat up the surface, thus allowing the compound to both remove the contaminents and blend the clearcoat over the scuffs and scratches, leaving you with a nice, smooth, contaminent-free surface.
On my personal cars, I do this 3 times a year: Once in late fall, Once in mid-winter and once again in mid-spring.
You'll be helping your friend, your SHOforum, but most importantly, your car! Who's interested?

Give me a wheel, some compound, maybe a little bit of 1000 grit wet sandpaper and I'll make freakin' tree bark shine
