Which steering rack

So i got a 93 atx. Which racks will fit the car? I will be hitting the local pick and pull for parts. Is there anyway to check the rack before removing it?
All the cars are up on wheel block/stand thingys LOL.
Now i dont want to waste my time and money pulling a P.O.S rack.
So any help is welcome guys.

So it might be worth just buying a new one and installing the restrictors(as long as they are in good shape). Also is there a difference between the mtx and atx racks? Cause i found a gen 1 mtx at the local pick and pull. And lots of slo's. What yrs will work on my 93?
