So I decided that i would tackle the BDA replacement... and i found several things... and i dont know which one is the correct part, i thought it would cost me somewhere around $100, but i found on rockauto that they have the proliance heater core for something like 34.99... so now my questions....

is the blend door actuator the same as whats listed as HVAC heater blend door lever (lever throws me off, is that the same as actuator?)

That link is the picture, and it looks like the few pics of a BDA that ive seen... its listed as $15.78... its a motorcraft part... should it be more $$? theres another one listed thats a black piece, and it says "w/factory air" opposed to the white one saying "heater" and heres the link to the black piece:

ALSO the Heater core seemed cheap... i dont want a low quality, does anyone know anything about "proliance" its listed as a copper core, which i thought was inferior to aluminium, but there is no aluminium core on rockauto.. and the proliance core is the correct replacement # for the SHO (E9DZ-18476-A)

so basically... i just want to do this once, and want a good product, and the correct one... so any advice/insights are welcome (as long as they pretain to the afore mentioned :smash: )

TIA
