Where to get valve shims? besides sho source

Local Kawasaki dealer, shims that fit KLR 650. Call around, some sell for $3 to $4, some want $20. 29mm shims is what you want.

The job goes far faster if you have the replacement shim on hand to install immediately after you pull the old shim out; else you get to remove them twice, once to see what size is in there, and again to replace. That's the value of having the kit. But deposits and from/to shipping from those that offer them is expensive.

My Yamaha shop charged $20 for a pack of 5. They would not sell them individually. I have 200 shims from 2.300 to 2.750 mm along with the tools and the gapping worksheets. Maybe I should share my toys.

I actually have a set of Shobills lazer cut tools from WAY long time ago.. have yet to do the job so I am not understanding all the tech to it. Can we not discuss this job?
