Searched around here and found the Ford P/N and the fact that SHOSource used to carry it. Seems that isn't the case any more, and Google gave me nothing on the P/N. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to find it before I start calling random dealers?

Welcome to the world of obsolete SHO parts.

Do a search threw your local ford dealer.

You can also post in the wanted To Buy section here on the forum.

I always wondered whether the trick manually adjustable aluminum ones for the Mustang aftermarket would fit . . .

Well.... ANYTHING can fit with enough persuasion, LOL. But 2 of my last Mustangs had adjustable clutch cables.. The quadrant wasn't big, but it was just big enough to where making it work under there would be a royal PITA. :frown:
