Itwonder is correct. Colder plugs will not melt and cause preignition. They may foul out and cause misfires if you run several short trips.

I have some brand new plugs. Havent gotten around to putting them in and wont have time anytime soon.

There's no need usually, but you should check actual gap anyway. Should be between 0.033 and 0.037 stock.

The gap that you want to have post tuning is .30

So Im having a performance shop do my thermostat and re-gap my plugs bc it's cold here and I'm lazy! I just got my tune files from Anthony on Saturday. Do I need to load my tune BEFORE the performance shop does my plugs and stat - or can they do this work first and then drive the car home and load the tune afterwards? Thanks!
