Last time I changed the ATF on our 94 SHO ATX, I replaced the pan gasket with a cork OEM gasket and torqued the nuts to factory specs. Now, the gasket is seeping fluid around one of the bolt holes and it's not because they're overtightened or loose. SHOSHOP told me someone makes a rubber gasket with metal rings around the bolt holes but they couldn't give me specifics. Anyone know where I can get one of these?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Thanks Tommy, I'll wait for your response thumbs_u Would rather not use a "band-aid" solution like one of those sealer additives. Let me know who makes the gasket and I'll order one ASAP.

I used the cork gasket on my old ATX along with some of the blue gasket maker stuff. Worked great for me.

Just changed the tranny fluid on my 93ATX. I put a PROFormance filter on it (P/N's are SAG F254, ATC 86011E-E). I got it at the local Advance Auto (SKU # 5150655). Two things about the kit :

1) It has a neoprene Fel Pro Gasket on it - flexible & tough to line up the holes to put on, but no leaks
2) Ther is a rubber gasket on the neck of the filter. It was too long and would noot go far enough up into the transaxle. I had to use the old neck gasket, which was about half as tall (~1/4"-3/8"). Other than that, the kit was good.

If you want a rubber gasket with reinforced metal rings at the bolt holes, the tranny pan gasket from my wife's 3.8L Windstar lines up ewith the AXOD pan on my Sho. That P/N was FD6DP-7A191-AA (some other stuff beloew it was K9BOS and PA65-GF33<). Not sure if it would work very well becuase of the raised lip around the bolt holes on the SHO pan.

Hope this helps......

If you try using that gasket that is plastic off of say like a winstar. You will have leaks unless you also change pans. The raised portions on the SHO will cause it to leaks. The other pans have no bumps on it.
