So at this point the only performance related modifications for engine performance are the following:
-CAI
-Exhaust
-Tuner
Is there anything else in the near future to look forward to that will be something to get excited about?

I'm pretty sure at this point that the tuning will do more for these cars than anything else. Pretty amazing to run about a second faster in the 1/4 mile just by plugging in a tuner. :)

This. I've never seen anything like it. The only thing I can think of that gives the same performance per $ is throwing a Pulley on a 03 Cobra.

something tells me there won't be much along the lines of hard parts for these cars. perhaps some different turbos/manifolds, possibly cams and maybe intercoolers, but most gains are likely gonna come from tuning.

Level 10 has a new torque converter available and darreli has been in contact with other manufactures on turbo improvements and fuel delivery.

Stuff will come out. I know companies are working on stuff. It's a completely new platform, it'll take some time. Tuning is definitely the best bet though

When the EcoBoost F-150 is plentiful, there will be more aftermarket interest by suppliers.

Remember when 1 hp per CU. IN was considered advanced Tech....

Can you say 3 HP per Cu In!!!!!!

Now this is the stuff I like to hear about as tuning is only going to take you so far.

I think the biggest drawback is fuel and small turbos. Once you can deliver more fuel and install larger turbos they can start cranking out more power if the rest of the drivetrain can handle it. Theres other small things like water or meth injection, but those will only allow you to push the motor a little harder.

About fuel, does anyone have experience with the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump? I talk to there tech and he seems to thing the 20 amp system would work. That might be enough to get our cars enough fuel.

Mike I talked to Kenne Bell as well on that same thing. It will definately work to supply more fuel to to the high pressure pump. Haven't been able to find out what the output is on the high pressure pump (what it's limitations are).

What is the advantage of switching out the torque converter?

The ability to launch the car at a higher rpm, a little higher in the powerband. Level 10 claims .2 on the 60ft which would equate to almost 1/2 sec in the quarter. I might be putting that to the test! Also, I can assure you some more parts will be in development soon. :)

They claim .2 in the 60 but I'm not sure that's really been tested real world. There should be some low 12 sec passes this year for sure.

i wonder if it'd be possible to dump the direct injection system in favor of high volume injectors? of course, that'd probably mean a piston swap, but if you're going that far already...

If you launch too hard, and lose traction at all 4 wheels, I found system will still shut down boost, even with TC off.

I got my best 60 ft times with TC on, as did Tech Addiction who also has a EB Brick.
(several just under 2.0). Considering I am pushing nearly 5,000 lbs. I'm satisfied.

Also thought the DI fuel pump was the limiting factor.

Why would you want to do that? Sounds like the opposite of progress to me.
