I have a gen II mtx. I bought a 73mm mafs from preformance plus, sho shop Y pipe and Dynomax cat back intalled by Doug Lewis. When I first got my mafs, I was using it with a K&N cone filter. My car ran rough and actually lost power. I almost sent it back but decided to try it with the stock airbox and filter. Now my car seems to run the same until around 5000rpms and power has increased on the top end. I'm wondering if a LPM would help and or be worth the money? The last engine up grade I;ve considered without completely dismantling my topend is a throttle body from shoshop. What results have ppl had with a throttle body?

You'd be better off asking that in a Gen2 forum rather than a Gen3 one.

Just got my FordChip back from reflashing by Apten chip. I hope the 1-2 shift won't hit the rev limiter anymore.
