Got Secondaries?
Ok so...back in June the tranny jammed up on me and stuck itself in 2nd gear, I got the tranny replaced and at the same time the AC Compressor was "rebuilt." Well about a week after having AC, the thing started making not-so-nice noises (the compressor) and then one day it killed the car. So ever since then the compressor has never engaged, and whenever you try to get it to engage it makes more not-so-nice noises....so I haven't had AC in a few months...
But, ever since then, on that day, every time I drive the car smoke comes out, or steam, but it smells like coolant(?) from around the compressor area...even though the compressor is never engaged...and it doesn't just smoke/steam a little it smokes/steams from under the passenger side of the hood at a stop light, but it isn't really apparent but you CAN smell it, and whenever you get out of the car you can definitely smell it and usually see it coming from under the hood if you look...
I am not leaking anything onto the driveway, my coolant level is fine, the engine never overheats or goes past the middle...so wtf is going on?
