All of a sudden, my '94 ATX is running slightly rough at idle, and when in overdrive (or when the throttle is constant). My engine light is coming on and off. What's going on? Did I just get bad gas, or is there something broke? It has 105k with the original spark plugs; I am going to replace them with Bosch platinums this week. Could that be the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Shaun

Yeah if they are the original plugs it might do what you are describing, as far as the ce light flashing? I have no idea, You should change the plugs though since they are the originals. Just from personal experience, only use the motorcraft plugs...nothing else.

The check engine light is trying to tell you what the problem is, all youhave to do is listen. Check the codes. All it takes is a short piece of wire, the ignition key and about 5 minutes of your time.
