any ideas? shouldn't be mcuh more than, say, $45 per side, right? so $45X4 = $180. $225 max, right?

tokicos come in the housing? and you gotta take the springs off anyway to get the struts on, right? so, the spring install need not apply.

Average around my city its usually $90-$150 depending on where you go, so $200 should be max for quality shop to install them.

Robby, Don't forget the wear parts so the new stuff doesn't start squeaking soon after install.

i already got new bushings in there as teh kybs aren't all that old. i just got some cheap used eibachs and a decent deal on some new tokicos.

i guess i just learned my lesson about cheaping out in the first place and going kyb instead of tokico. tokico was out of struts at the time and i didn't want to blow the cash for konis and the labor to use the old housings with them.

Be aware that an alignment will be necessary to compensate for the lower suspension height. If the front adjustment plates aren't drilled loose yet, they will need to be to allow the plates to be moved outboard to try to get the camber back into spec. Enjoy the ride. It will be quite firm at first, but will loosen up over a few thousand miles.

Hey Robby

Go have Nick do it!
Actually I did mine myself at George F's place in Suison City. He was a great help up there.

I paid to have it done on my first one, and they charged me 1.25 hours per corner plus alignment ... It was like 450 including the alignment.

Do a search for the alignment spec's for the SHO with Tokico - Eibach setup, and take them to the shop with you. I heard you have a top of the line alignment shop in the Mt View- Sunnyvale area. Nick Chrimes knows about it. I think that Kerry has the spec's also, I'll check. I lost them when my last computer's hard drive took a dump. :( You will like it when there in. :D
