What purpose do these things serve

The plastic slider things behind the visors. I haven't seen them in other cars. Do they detach?

Yeah, and I miss them on any other car. That was just such a slick idea and waaay too useful to make it in other models, apparently. Those second visors and the EATC are what I miss most when driving other cars. The auto headlights are really nice, too.

Yeah it really surprized me when I got the z that it didnt have auto headlights. I figured an option/standard item on a 16 year old car would have been standard issue on cars now.

My '74 Coupe deVille I had years ago had auto headlights and auto climate control. Why they are not at least optional on just about every car is beyond me....

I miss the extra visors and auto lamps on my RSX.

Heated seats(only available on Canadian models), HIDs and auto lamps, I fell should have been standard on an Acura. I guess that's why they don't make the RSX any more though. It had too much Civic.
