What is the best outer tie rod for a gen1

I just replaced my right front outer tie, and the one that came off was a Moog Problem Eliminator 4004. It was so trashed; it made me wonder if it was any better than the $13.00 ones made in Mexico.

What brand gives the longest ware, and what are the greasing intervals?

On my slo I used the autozone cheapo lifetime warantee ones. Haven't had any trouble yet. I think life depends on how often you hit potholes and whether you keep your tires balanced.
