Peasants, my ‘89 town car had it all, and a 5.0. Hahaha Even auto dim brights. I see there hasn’t been much advancement there.

My first daily driver was an '89 fox body, 2.3l (non-turbo), auto trans. Ran a solid 21 second 1/4 mile cold, 23s at like 58 mph when warmed up. I still maintain that it has to be the slowest "full power" run in the history of Milan Dragway, or perhaps the whole world?Yep, all of my Fox Body Mustangs didnt! LOL.

Driver's seat not so much, but the passenger's rear mounts were supported by nothing but the carpet. And having hopped a few curbs with mine I would say the suspension is fit for autocross lolDid you have the gangster lean in the driver seat as well? Ha, loved the 2.3 liter. My buddy at a 88 with the 2.3 liter. We nitrous'd the crap out of that little motor. Finally gave up when we put a 2nd kit on it. LOL. Also the turbo 2.3 was a ripper in the Turbo Coupe. I would build a notch fox body with a turbo 2.3 and a 5 speed. I bet that car would be awesome at autocross.

Seriously!?! My '82 Mustang GT has a catawampus driver's seat. I thought it was just my car... and the 230K miles. But, this is common? I have frame connectors welded in underneath, so the seat shouldn't fall out on the highway, but it is worrying.Did you have the gangster lean in the driver seat as well?
Completely normal. We called it the 5.0 gangsta lean lol. I did break the seat mount on a hard nitrous launch too. That was fun.Seriously!?! My '82 Mustang GT has a catawampus driver's seat.
