Cruising rockauto, I came accross this item specified as a "SHO" parts kit:

Can someone tell me what this is all about? If this kit includes rings, mains, rod bearings, and head gaskets, this looks like quite a deal...

When the part number is crossed, it only show up for SHO engines.

I agree. I can't believe how many things are still mislabeled or wrongly cross referenced to work with the SHO 3.0/3.2 after all these years.
If it for some reason is the real deal please keep us updated because it will be incentive for me to put one of my spare engines back together.

The thoughts were correct. This doesn't exist. Rockauto just called me to inform me this was a discontinued kit and they no longer have it. I am getting a refund. Would have been a sweet deal, most gaskets, rod, and main bearings. Oh, well. At least we found out the truth.

Same , just got the call. Not very surprised , but was worth a shot for that price.
