What do I do about a broken headlight mount?

Oh my poor SHO. This winter weather has wreaked havoc upon her soul. The other night pulling into work I slid into another car and broke the corner lense and left head-light mount (adjusting thingy). How do I fix this? Do I have to replace the black plastic piece that go's across the whole front of the car (and looks like a very time consuming project) or could I simply "super glue" the mount back together. It just broke the plastic in two.
Crap I just realised that I posted this in the wrong place doh

Some JB weld or similar should work, but I don't know how durable that might be. Or you could get a new header panel from a junkyard or whatever. It's not too hard to change it.

Super glue won't adhere the plastic resin together I tried...I slammed my hood down in frustration once and cracked that mounting piece. I went to a junkyard to replace it but they would only sell the whole sealed headlight assembly!..for $75 instead I opted to drill a hole through the resin and used a zip tie to hold it in place against the mount.
DEpending on how much damage there is that might work for you. Mine has held for over a year now.

It all depends on how much of the header is broken. If it isn't too bad, you could rig up something with some small angle iron and tip ties.

As far as replacing the entire unit, it isn't really nearly as intimidating as it might seem. In fact, it's surprisingly straight foward. Don't be intimidated.

When I hit my deer with the SHO I had to replace the header. I got a brand new one from a place called Certi-Fit (Sorta-Fit as we like to call it cause there parts don't always fit just right). It cost me like $38 for a brand new one. My uncle and I had to remove the front bumper to replace it but everything was pretty straight forward about it. Good luck.
