I've had my car for about 4-5 years now and put 60k on it. I am about to replace my 3rd VSS, what the ****?! Its bad enough I am on my 3rd transmission. Anyone know what causes these to break? Or is just another "ford" part? I am pretty sure its my VSS that is broken. I did a search on it before making a post and I have the following symptons:
Drops out of gear on slow down once hot
No cruise control
Lack of VAPS
All I know is it better not be the tranny I just had the last one replaced maybe 10k or so. cuss I'll light it on fire drive it off a cliff and *** on it, then make a claim to the insurance it was stolen. finger
