Weird Problem!

Well my car has been running like krap!So I reset the idle and nothing happened..I know part of my problem is my secondaries but I am almost sure thats not my main problem!

I unplug my maf sensor and take her for a spin...I hit it from 15 and broke the tires lose,2nd gear roasted the tires!My car has not been able to do that for a while now!But If i start out of the hole and punch it right away you can hear like a mis or something...it will carry through the rmp's then around 2500-3000 you can hear the car get alot better then it will haul ass!

Before I unpluged the maf sensor first and second gear just would go put fell like something is holding it back!WHen the rpm's get up higher in 3rd gear with the maf in the car will just start to run like a champ all the way through the rest of the gears!Like I said secondraies i think are stuck open but i dont think thats the problem..It kinda sounds like a miss or something!

Hopefully someone can help me out with the lack of informtaion.Thanks

Any other info? Check engine light? Codes? Age of plugs and wires? Brand of plugs and wires? Have you witnessed the secondaries opening by blipping the throttle over 4,000 rpm? Do you verify that they aer closed at idle? Engine work that was done prior to this problem? To many possibilities. Help us help you.

There is no codes at all!Like I said before my secondaries are messed up.But I didnt think it would make my car run that bad,and why with the maf unplugged would it run real good part of the time?

hey Ryan the reason i believe your car runs better with your maf disconnected is you said your secondaries are stuck open all the secondaries do is allow more air into your engine this will cause your maf to get improper readings on how much air is accually being inserted in your engine at normal idle and driving speeds. thus your car runs badly not at the proper mixture most likely a lean condition.
when you dissconnect your maf you put your car into a rich condition normally. but in your case since the secondaries are stuck open it is running closer to the proper mixture.

i would fix the intake before doing any unnessisary work.
