Would anyone have one kicking around to measure? Please indicate with or without pin.

Thanks

I have a set or two but no accurate small scale. I will see if one of my neighbors has a postage scale.

What are you looking for?

Think I found a potential low cost source of 93 mm pistons, compression height is correct as is pin diameter and valve releifs. But if they are heavier than the stock 3.2 liter pistons that could be an issue. A postage scale or baking scale (+/- 5 grams) is sufficient but let me know if the pin and locks are present, or not. Thanks

Maybe Josh T has that info filed away somewhere. Is there a big difference in the JE forged slug weight vs stock? If so, has that presented as an issue over time?

Thank you Tom for checking. Luigi, the weight of the piston becomes a limiting factor on the rods at high RPM, the forces needed to decelerate the piston go up with piston weight. The donar pistons I am researching one of the candidates weighs about 400 grams. If a 3.2 L SHO piston weighs more then the stock rods should suffice. A forged piston typically weighs less than a hypereutectic cast one by many tens of grams.

I have some JE forged pistons sitting around. They weigh just under a pound each according to my postage scale.
15.5 oz no pin.
I don't have a scale that's accurate enough to weigh in grams though.
