Is anyone going to highway 100 this weekend? Im coming back home (yes again) and im thinking of cruising, despite my heat working worse than a cat breathing on my legs

just wonder if i can expect to see anyone, i saw jesse last time i was there... it was pretty cool driving up and down with 3 SHO's

I'll probably drive on it over the weekend, but cruising is probably a no-go. I did that enough in high school.

yeah it is very rare if you see me in my car down there, and if i am its only for a lap or 2 ive had enough tickets this year and im not getting another!! esp since i dont work because of school, so if im there im prob in a friends car

I hear that the law was inforced and they can auction off your car if its involved in street racing. im not positive this is true but i wouldnt dought it.

what if you just feel like punching it and the guy next to you takes off fast too.... you both lose your cars, and theyre acutioned off even though you weren't racing??

i dont think thats possible at all... plus my GF's dad's friend just got a ticket in his maro' for racing on hwy100 and, it was something like 8 pts and 650+ ticket (and hes like high 40's) i dont know what the ticket is for exactly, but its pretty heafty none-the-less, impounding your car and auctioning it off... no way (please correct me if im wrong)

Yes there is. I used to have fun in the Eclipse on those roads.

Then I used to be real stupid and have fun around Holy Hill and those backroads.

Police are obvioulsy going to assume you're racing if two cars floor it at the same time. They would either give you a reckless driving ticket, racing, or speeding ticket. But you'll get something because you're breaking the law.

As far as a $650 8 point racing ticket, that is complete BS. I've gotten 2 racing tickets at hwy and each was for $298.00 and 6 points.

Why not auction the car off, they are already doing it in other cities.

how fast were you going?... were you driving wreckless? serioulsy man... i wouldnt call BS, its a second hand story, but 6 points isnt too far off of 8 pts, and i dont know his driving history... i met him and he's got quite a personality... maybe it wasnt totally a racing ticket, but maybe a couple other ones of the sort...

and theyre not gonna just take your car and auction it off... they may impound it, but if youre just driving wreckless, i dont see them auctioning your car off....how would you determine a race? just two cars driving fast doesnt constitute it for me.... you could argue that soo hard... theres sooo much grey area... if you can define it for me, then ill agree, but i doubt youll be able to, and two cars taking off fast isnt gonna do it for me, maybe if what luke says (racing in a industrial park) i can see those getting impounded and possibly auctioned...because thats an orgainzed "system" of illegal activities... but other than that, how can you determine?
