was the factory fuel pump walbro?

i just installed a 155 lph walbro fuel pump last night and the pump i pulled out was a walbro. both pumps had h16 stamped on them.

just curious to see if maybe i took out an old 155 for a new one.

When I replaced mine the old one was also a Walbro, though I'm not sure if it was the original one. I heard that the sho was supposed to get a high flow fuel pump, but that if they didn't have any avialable they would use the standard taurus ones during assembly.

I don't know if some factory installed pump may have been Walbro brand, but not all of them were. I have a couple old pumps that are stamped with the Ford logo.

Are you sure your old pump is stamped h15? That isn't a Walbro number. However, 516 is Walbro's model number for a 155 ltr/hr pump.
