VSS harness

Any body know if the 2-wire vss harness on the 95 taurus is the same as the SHO?This is on a ATX 95

I don't know for sure, but since the vss is listed as the same part on the SHO and slo (and a bunch of other vehicles) I would expect that the little harness you are after would be the same on several other vehicles, including the slo.

Well I just pulled one from a 94 slo and yes they are both 2-wire harnesses,but the plug that goes into the engine harness is different.So now my question is where would I look to find automotive connectors to try and find this plug and build them myself.Sooner or later somebody's is going to disintegrate from heat like mine did and we have no place to get this SHO specific plug.

Can't you just find a parts car in the classifieds and get the part sent to you? Or you could try RCM or Dan Barbush in PA. They usually have access to parts cars.

No problem.
