Anyone have any pics of 850R rims on a GEN II?
Hello all, I just bought a set of 850R rims for my car, and I didnt know if anyone else has ever put them on theirs, or have pics of them on there? Heck, even a photochop would work for me! The rims are the same as
457120_35_full.jpg
and are going onto my Green GEN II.

Or any other green GEN II, I just picked this one of mine.. Its going to be tough choosing which rim looks better, but if not, I can just sell whichever one I dont keep.. Thanks!

Are those 17's? If so, that should look really nice. What year volvo did them come from?

Yes, they are 17x8s, came on the Volvo 850Rs, I think the 5 spokes were ONLY 96 and 97 or something like that...

Nothin wrong with the M3s, Im just undecided if I want the more stealthy look of the 17x8 850R gunmetals, (possibly powdercoated in black chrome powder I have waiting), or to keep the M3s as they are... I love both rims, and will hate to see the M3s go if I decide to part with them... :bonk:

The M3 doesnt have the same bolt pattern, these rims were drilled for the first time with the 5x108 (SHO) bolt pattern, so they arent even redrills. They arent difficult to clean, they are basically new rims, so the brake dust wipes right off... I think the M3 bolt pattern is something like 5x120 or something, its WAY off from ours... :thumb:

SHOGUY92, Don't hold your breath, they go for HUGE money on ebay, :bonk: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7937956634&category=43957&sspagename=WDVW These are up to $610 and they still have like 9 days left...

That volvo is my buddy nick's 850 t5r. They only made those in 1995. Very sweet car and very nice rims. Im not sure if the later model 850R's use those same rims. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/457120/1 That is his cardomain page. I always wondered what those rims would look like on a sho.
Nick, Tell your buddy Nick he has one BADA$$ car! I love those cars, and hope to get one someday, They're so sweet looking, Iwas impressed with my brother's 850GLT, let alone a t5r! I can't wait to get the rims on there, only thing is one of them has a slight bend in the outer lip, I have to get it repaired... I may do black chrome powdercoating to them all, if they have to damage the finish of it to straighten it..

If I am not mistaken, those are the new S60R and V70R rims, not 850R. I think the 850R rims are like 8-10 spokes, also a gunmetal color. Aaron

They may be similar to the s60r ones, but they are not the same. These are from an 850R, from 95 according to what slickn56... I like them, and hope they look awesome on the car... Can't wait to go pick them up!

I love those 850R rims. My mom has an 850 turbo....it's fast, about as fast as the SHO on the highway from a roll @ 65 (don't ask :D ) I think the only reason the SHO is around as fast is the 5 speed. Anyway, love those rims, I want an 850R so bad....my dad is getting a V50 6 speed in about a month (it's built but not in country yet) .... I was thinking about putting the 16" Volvo "slicers" on my sho, my mom has 2 extra...yum...hehe

I've got the pic of CrazySHO's SHO when those wheels were on it (they're actually T5R wheels, the 850R came with the 10 spokes).

I love them, infact I was going to get them before I got my Enkeis, they're 17X7 instead of 17X8 though, and you'll need new tires because the sidewall is too low profile for our cars.

The T5Rs will be my next set of wheels if and when I get something new.

The guy told me these are 17x8s, was he wrong? OR were you saying your enkeis are 17x7s? Thanks! I like the look of them on the car, I think I will definitely have to take a coil out of the eibachs in front tho, itl look nicer that way..

The T5Rs are 17X7. Maybe even 17X6.5, I'm 100% positive they're not 17X8 though.

I remember CrazySHO telling me they're not wide, but the Pirellis that came on them were very sticky when I PM him about those wheels.

Those T5R wheels are called Titan, the 10 spokes Volan I believe.

Are you not happy if they're 17X7 or less now? I want to take them off your hands if you don't want them. :D

Well, I think you're wrong on that, (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7937956634&category=43957&sspagename=WDVW), both listings say that they are 8" wide, but I could be wrong, I havent seen firsthand for myself... If they arent an 8" rim, I'm not as impressed with them , lol! :bonk:
