Visor Garage Door Programming.

Has anybody had issues programming a genie intellicode garage door opener to a SHO. Mines a 2015.......thx!!!!!

I just googled how to do it for my 2026 Explorer ST. Should be the same process. Worked for my 2013 SHO and 2019 S550.

Yeah. That's what's driving me crazy. I looked it up and it was pretty strait forward. It just doesn't seem to be working........I tried both using the program button on the door opener and tried with the remote........

Go to homelink.com and select 'program your vehicle' and follow that to select your vehicle and your garage door opener. Some openers are nearly impossible to program, others are very easy. It depends on the opener.

You cleared the codes first? Held the remote up to the visor to sync? Light flashing like it says?

All I had to do was park right in front of the garage, press the learn button on the opener until it began to flash, and then held the visor button in my car until the door closed. Been working fine like that for a decade.

I know it's supposed to be easy. I'm just having issues. I'll check out @rubydist suggestions. I'm pretty sure the opener is an intellicode. I think that's where I'm having the issues........and I also did clear the existing codes first......thx y'all!!!!!

Is the light on your visor and opener flashing when you try to connect? I had to hold my remote up to the visor and sync it first and then do the opener.

Sometimes it takes both ways to finish.
The light visor flashes fast and then slowly? While holding the remote button down? Right up by the visor.

Shout out to @Bronco2fan!!!!!! Good looking out on the two stage process. I also had to switch the intellicode to red light 1 instead of green light 2. Works now!!!!!!! Thx dude!!!!!!!
