This weekend was the North Carolina Auto-X Championship. My local club won this year and I won C-Prepared. It probably helps that I was the only C-Prepared car that showed up, But whatever...Right?
The first Day was of course an absolute disaster. The course was wet, I couldn't get my straight and ended up with 2 DNF's (Out of 4 runs), Went really slow on my 3rd run just to calm my nerves down and had a OK Time on my 4th run.
The Second day, Went a lot better. My first two runs were clean and relatively quick. My 3rd run was a lot faster, But I Nailed a Cone. My 4th run was of course the fastest but yet again...I nailed a Cone (You can hear it in the video and I of course point it out as well). This car needs a set of Race Tires, Plain and simple. A CP car on street tires is just never going to be very competitive in CP. I also need to get a Pro-Solo Driving school next year. I'm hoping by late next year. Either way, Here's the video from the Second day and some pics.
