We purchased our SHO, and we finally took it on a road trip to Flagstaff last weekend. The car has a distinct high frequency vibration that is centered around 67 MPH. You can feel it starting about 50 MPH, but it is worst at 67. The dealer's response is "it's a performance vehicle and it is normal." I can tell you after 4 hours of driving, I was ready to get out from behind the wheel. It is most noticeable in the steering wheel, but you can feel through out the car. To me it feels like a driveshaft is out of ballance.

Has anyone else had the same issue? The car is a 2011 and only has 1400 miles on it...

LOL, that has to be a joke, right........:bowrofl:

Find another dealer who isn't into so much 'comedy'.

I have the Eagle RSA's as well and have noticed a slight vibration. The only thing that sounds different, I mainly only notice mine after the car has been sitting for 8-10+ hours. It almost feels like they're flatspotted. Doesn't sound as bad as yours, so I was just going to mention it when I take the car in for service shortly.

Looks to be the Goodyear RSA's. The dealership put a set of Michelin Pilot Sport's on and the vibration appears to be gone. The RSA's did have a bad flat-spotting issue but that issue would dissapear after a few miles, unlike the vibration at 67. If you have the RSA's on the car and you have a vibration, do not overlook the tires. Especially after you change any of the factory tires.

I might have to bring that up to the dealer...wonder how I could present this to get them to put something else on...

It's just like you said, it has a slight vibration, and after a few miles, it goes away.

Talk to the dealer and suggest having your tires 'indexed'.

(a google search will show a ton of info on the subject).

The tires on my new Corvette seemed out of balance initially ( quite badly I might add) -- I would have put money on it, ---- but only temporarily and after a few miles of driving the vibration disappeared only to return when cold and 'stale'.
My car dealership indexed the tires to ideally place the tires on the rims and cured the issue -- 100%! -- yes 100%.

I seriously believe that to be your problem.
