well another problem with the sho at 60+ mph I get really noticeable vibration in my steering wheel, on my gear shift and my back and butt etc. around 70 it gets worse we’re I’m driving to the UP of Michigan from Illinois and my hand starts to get numb lol. I’ve replaced both front lower control arms, struts, strut mount and brand new tires. I’ve had a alignment done and it’s perfect. Not sure if wheel bearing is bad or what? I know I do have a slight bent from the potholes I’ve hit that bent the wheel very slightly but it’s on the rear. Anyone with the same issue that fixed it? Or how can I find out? thanks for the help again guys!

So a vibration can be Acessory drive, engine, drive line, or wheel speed related.

Since the vibration is not repetitive Acessory drive is not suspected. Misfired are a possibility but you could differentiate this.

A wheel/drive line related vibration will still be present in neutral. And if you would like you can turn the engine off. You have to press and hold the start stop button or press it a few times. I forget. Your power steering will still function until the cars speed drops below a certain speed. If your not comfortable with that DON'T DO IT.

Driveline sometimes can be torque related. Meaning only on acceleration/tip in.

So how do you isolate it? Well. You can put the car in the air (wheels of the ground) and see if the vibration is still present and remove stuff. Keep in mind you don't want the suspension to hang as this will change the driveline angle which can cause a vibration.

So the front and rear axle can be isolated by removing the drive shaft, but this also rules out the driveshaft.

Wheels can be removed and the lug nuts used to secure the rotor better. Then we can remove the rotors too. Then your down to half shaft.

A little bit better way to isolate the vibration is to use an analizer. Certain vibrations have a frequency that can be calculated.

Does the vibration increase/decrease turning left vs right? That is a strong indicator for a wheel bearing issue.

If the vibration is coming through the passenger cabin floor, a good possibility that the carrier bearings on the driveshaft need inspecting. If bad, the driveshaft has to be replaced.

Carefully check and retorque the lug nuts at each wheel also.

I had my passenger feel and she said it doesn't feel much of vibration on her side, and when turning left or right it stays the same. Im home from vacation so I will look later today.

Taking it to the local tire shop and getting a balance/rotate would answer a lot of questions.
Ive had them rebalanced twice, cause the first place I had my alignment/balanced done they didn't do it right then went to discount tire. Im going to switch the fronts with the best wheels I have on the car to the front to see if the vibration is there. I know there will be a little bit cause of the springs/harder compound tire but what Im feeling doesnt seem normal lol

Just a update forgot to post. Had the wheels Road forced balance and one has a very slight bend and forgot what one other had but they are on the back of the car and no more vibration
