Valve Stem Seals?

A friend is considering purchase of a 94 3.2 atx and said that it blows blue smoke for about 30 seconds when first started after sitting overnight. Seems to be heavier if the temp is lower (like in the low 50's rather than in the 60's or 70's). He ran compression check and said results were fine (I don't have the numbers).

1.....Could the above be something else other than valve stem seals?

2.....If it is valve stem seals, are Felpro seals of high quality?

EDIT:......forgot to say that smoke blows from exhaust, not dripping anywhere.

Sounds like the classis valve stem seals to me. In my opnion Fel Pro makes very high quality gaskets. I use em.

Specifically, have you or anyone else used the Felpro valve stem seals?

I've also used Felpro gaskets in other areas and have been pleased so far.

Fel-Pro valve stem seals on my car for 14 months now without a single problem. regardless of the application, Fel-Pro gaskets/seals CAN be trusted.

I would go so far as to say that the Fel-Pro seals are the same as the Ford seals. They sell lots of stuff to Ford.
