I finally got the tools needed to replace the valve stem seals. I pulled everthing apart and took my first valve seal out to find that, not surprisingly, it was hard as a rock. Well i went to replace it with the new ones i had gotten from autozone and low and behold they were the wrong part!! cuss Needless to say autozone is gonna get a piece of my mind. Anyway i got the part number from the forum and found a local auto parts store that can get them for me. Problem is they are a tad on the expensive side. I was looking at ford parts network and saw that they have valve stem seals that are not fel-pro for a very cheap price. hmmm...decisions, decisions. Anyone have any advice about the seals from FPN? If you do let me know. Thanks

FPN is a well run business. That said, you should have Torrie check it out for you before you place the order online. Sometimes the part can be listed or priced incorrectly. It is very rare to find a part that's cheaper through the dealer even with the nice discount through FPN.

I second FPN, though for some reason I think they had trouble finding me the vane and crank sprocket that ******* bent because I hamburger'd my hand on a cam sprocket. I ordered a header panel from them when some guy decided to try and drive through my car while I was sitting at a light. It came broken and Torrie at FPN was very quick about getting me a replacement. No problems there. Fed Ex doesn't have a good track history when it comes to careful handling of packages.
