too loose is always safer than too tight.
I also have a 2525 I could send. I could use a 2575 in return.
not an easy one. but , install no# shim after checking clearance from a 'known' shim & do the math!
On my 89, I had 2 out of tolerance (one bearly--didn't have the correct shim size and left it), and another that was out quite a bit, so I ordered 1 shim size up and that didn't do the trick (still too loose). I found an even thicker one in my garage and used it, and even then, it still was a bit loose but a better than before. I ran with it like that. I think if they're out .001 or whatever, it's not the end of the world. Always get it perfect if you can while you're in there, but if it's very close, you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't feel like ordering 10 and guessing, then leaving the car down another week waiting on parts. So far so good.
