the only thing I'm not tickled about is the V on the drivers side is near the wheel where the V on the passanger side is nearist the door... If i bought 2 sets of those and only use the right side facing I wonder if it really would make a difference? and then I'd have to sell the other set!!!

I bought the badges off Ebay, i think it said they were for a BMW, not sure. Type in V8 Badge or V8 Emblem under search and then look around for a minute and you should be able to find them. 13$ for them I believe....could be wrong I'll check and post back.

The badge looks cool, but do you realize that your front tires are on backwards? The directional tread should be going the other way!!

OKie you guys have been really nice not to call me a dumb@ss my husband just pointed out that if I tried to make the V be on the door side on both sides of the car the one side would be V8 and the other would be 8V!! you guys are just nice enough to let me have my blonde moment and chuckle at me under yiour breath! tim had to point out just how dumb that idea was!!! LOL It makes sense I was lost, sorry thinking to hard.

If the drivers side was like that but the passenger side has a smaller V and a bigger 8, THAT would look better. Is that what wifeofSuperHO was trying to say? I know that's what I am saying would look better.

Those E-bay one are different then mine... the "butt" of the eight is bigger. I really like the look of the retro one's ( mine and the ones listed on e-bay). The one's on Roland car I think could be cut so they were separate and could flip them around if you wanted to... i like the styling just not the fact that they are kinda flip floped on either side. It's all personal taste though. Navel-AVi8or I really like the way the point of the V on the retro badges you found rest in the 8, where mine goes thru.
