Unexplained CEL

So I've had this check engine light on since i've had my 91 mtx. The whole time I've been pulling codes and fixing them one by one. Now I thought I was finished. But the light keeps coming back on after driving for a little bit. When I try to pull the codes, there aren't any. does anybody know what's up?

It could be a bad pcm.

any bad things happen when it comes on? loss of pwr etc
