Ugly sunshade!

I've read the sunshade removal instructions on Shotimes but it's unclear to how you're supposed to "slide" the parts. They also reference a part they call the "halo". What exactly is that? when I'm sittin in my car with the moonroof closed, I see three screws on the front piece of black metal. I'm assuming they're calling the inside piece of metal the halo. I'm confused and my sunshade looks like ass!

Can anybody help me?
