I hadn't seen anything recently on an UDP other than over on v8 sho and there's not much there. I was curious how many people are running them and peoples opinions of them.

Are they still available somewhere?

I had two of them at one time. It's a good mod that will save 5-8 hp or so. SHO Source has them for $239.00

I just seen that FPS has them for 199. Are the sho source made by ASP. Over on v8sho I seen people had some issues with the asp ones. I was curious if anyone ever had any issues out of longevity. If I could get a good used one cheap id love to put one one while I have it off. Doing my head rebuild.

1. Chances are you're looking at a page on Doug's website that hasn't been updated in a long time, probably years; best to call for current pricing/availability.

2. Ignore the completely useless ******** on v8sho.com. 2-3 people had problems with the first release of UDP's 15 years ago, nobody else has since. Best just to block that site in your browser.

I kinda figured the problems were mainly with the first few produced. I was really curious as to how many people had them now? I just followed a lonk to his site so its posssible its an old page. If I can't get one for less than 250 I may just hold off. That's not something that's a hard thing to change out.

I should really make sure I can get the car running before I start throwing more into it.
As far as v8sho goes. I think there is a lot of useful information still on the site. A lot seems to be focused around cam faiures and I wish there was more info on maintaining your car. Some info seems outdated. The site has saved me from starting many threads. When I'm still curious about something a post a thread here. Which is how this thread came about.

There actually is a large section at V8SHO.com on maintenance and such. Look for a heading down at the bottom there called CARE AND FEEDING. Its useful.

Car has been out of production for 12 years, there just isn't much more to update. Just remove old, no-longer-relevant information.
