Okay, I have some turbo questions for all you FI guys. I just want to know more for future projects! I know that the turbo forces air into the intake, but how and where does all the other "plumbing" work? Also, how do BOV's and wastegates work? I know this is a lengthy question, but I've been wanting to know this stuff, but haven't asked yet. I also think the only dumb question is the one that is not asked...... Just let me borrow your brains for a minute!!

The turbocharger is bolted to the exhaust manifold of the engine. The exhaust from the cylinders spins the turbine, which works like a gas turbine engine. The turbine is connected by a shaft to the compressor, which is located between the air filter and the intake manifold. The compressor pressurizes the air going into the pistons.
