ok heres my first question.. what size(flow i mean) fuel pump should i get Just for starts and Not one that will over power the stock FPR! :p with my current setup ill top out around 350hp now i know the stocker injectors wont go that high but for now i need a fuel pump that will flow enough for 350-400hp IF posible with out over running the FPR......

ok now heres my other question... this is ONLY for the TURBO guys who Vent there bovs!

ok sometimes when boosting it onto the freeway after i hit 4th gear if i boost it real fast and let off then tap it again flames come out the exhaust does this happen to any of you turbo guys out there??? i know it happens to the blower guys when slowing down thats why i said Only for the turbo guys! :p ok im done here thanks for any help you can give me.

190lph pump is about as high as you can go on the stock regulator, however, it still over-runs the FPR. Since the SHO's stock fuel lines are a tad on the small side for big power, you'll actually need a rather large pump to compensate.

Vent where? Atmosphere or back into the intake? The BOV is going to vent somewhere, but you didn't specify.

It doesn't happen to me. You (or whoever you saw) may want to start looking at tuning and/or MAF placement. Since you didn't state where you vent your BOV, we can only speculate. I'm guessing you vent your BOV to the atmosphere and have the MAF before the turbo? In this case, you're most likely measuring air, then wasting it causing a rich mixture to head through your exhaust.

Yes, I know I don't have a turbo SHO...

yes when i say vent i mean to the atmosphere.... and yeah the mafs Before the turbo on the inlet.. and this is my car im talking about..... just wundering about the flames out the tail pipes since i dont have my maf After the turbo i thought it was kinda odd. but cool at night for who evers behind me lol.

so 190lph is the my best bet? whats the stocker like 110 or somthing? (just guessing)

You're most likely shooting flames for the reason I gave above. You're pulling air through the MAF without too much time for the turbo to spin down (since you're goosing the throttle again) and venting out metered air. Since the metered air is not making it through the motor, you're now flowing a fuel-rich mixture out of your tail pipes.

Stock is around 112lph, IIRC. IMHO, I'd just take the hit and get a proper FPR and a larger fuel pump.

Well, to avoid having to buy two pumps (190lph now, 255lph later), I'd just plan it out and put a little money aside so you do it right the first time, and don't have to buy two fuel pumps. In the long run, it will probably save you more money in avoidance of blowing up the motor. I think it was six months from the time I decided to supercharge til I had my SC running on my car.

Just my $.02.

You know man thats Exactly how i think... if i get the best of the best right off then it will save me money in the long run... you are right about that.... soooo how much is a good adjustable fpr for our cars then? i know the 255 pump is cheap (i can get them for a tad over 100 bones) ill see what i can manage if i can sell some parts or engines that i have laying around maybe i can get everything i need for a 500hp beast (minus the bigger turbo of course) hehe.

An adjustable FPR that comes with everything you need to hook it up to your SHO is about $240 from www.shonutperformance.com, IIRC.
