TSHOC Meet at VIR- Sat. Nov 5th, 2011(with registered attending members)

You have spoken and our VIR meet is set for Nov 5, 2011. You can order tickets on line here($10 each) and use the promo code GCCC11. This promo will save you the processing fee and also code your tickets for the club parade laps. You can order your tickets and either print them at home(no added charge) or have them mailed($6 est. shipping). If you print them at home, you can order up to 48 hrs before event. If you have them mailed, I would recommend ordering them no later than 10 days before the event.

VIR has also offered the club a special box lunch deal for $8.00 per person. To order a lunch(s), I will need to know no later than 1:00 pm on Friday, October 28 to get the group price.

If you are coming, please post it here(with the number in your party) and how many lunches(in any) you want.

I don't know what happened to the link, but it seems to work now(at least for me). However, if you do have problems, you can go to the Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Races & Car Show page on the VIR site and then click on Saturday Ticket Only under Get Your Tickets Now. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused ****.

I hste to add to any problem but when I use the promo code I get this message " Error
Discount Code is not valid "

Should I wait and see before I buy a ticket without our club code or what?

Double checked and ticket code is working. I have also set-up a list of members how have confirmed their attendance. Don't forget to let me know if you want the lunch package. I must know(to place the lunch orders) by 1pm on Friday Oct 28th(next Friday), however you don't have to pay for the lunches until the day of the event. Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow. I am not in this locale, but what an awesome deal. I would love to get in on this. Just don't have the time, full time work, classes and about 16-18 hours away. I say thanks to you, DJ, for setting this up. I wanted to do the Tail of the Dragon run a little while back, but just didn't have the time or moola then. One of these days, I will come to one of these sweet events. There are a lot of great people on here setting things up for us to do. Thanks to all!

Finally was able to take a breather and get Andi's and my ticket purchased with no problem. Was there a set time for lunch that day? Not 100% sure when we will be arriving there just yet. I'm guessing before lunch time but not as early as 8:00 a.m. though either. Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks!!

I contacted VIR concerning your question along with some additional questions:

1) Is there a set time for lunch that day?

2) Do I have to pay for the lunches when I place the order on the 28th? Where do we get the lunches?

This is the response I received:

You can name the time you would like to pick them up. They will be picked up at the concession area in the North Paddock. They will need to be prepaid to get the discount on the lunches.
