92 SHO +
Guest
hello guys,
i took my stock amp off my 92 SHO and i was tryingto install an "eXtreme Cupid" 1600 watt 2/4 channel. well today i ran new speaker wires to the rear and front speakers, so after i had an 8 gauge thick wire conected to the + battery and have it hooked to the + positive of the amplifier, i also grounded the amp to the chasis of the car. After then i took another 16 gauge speaker wire and conected to the rear wire of the stereo remote that said( this wire is only hooking up conections for only power antenas or amplifiers) and hooked up the other side to the amp's remote terminal. After then i took the speaker wires in order and tried to conect them to the amp's terminals in order + pos and - neg. Nothing comes out of the speakers...
.. When i unhook the remote wire and connect the speakers to the wires on the back of the wires for the stereo plug sound kicks on like it use to be be4 with out an amp installation.
please help me how to work on this..
anything is greattly apprecieted. thanks
regards to all
