Trunk relase handle lock

How do I replace the lock on the trunk relase handle. I got a whole lockset from Erik (Thanks!) and I can't seem to figure out how to get the bracket out to remove the lock... TIA

remove the screws that hold the plastic trim on the sill. pull it out of the way a bit remove 2 #3 philips screws & u can pull the assy. up some to access lock cylinder.While your there now take a dremmel cutoff wheel & cut off the 'L' shaped spring loaded metal finger that holds the lock cylinder down so u'll never need a key anymore !!
