I Have a Black 93 SHO ATX. For the past few months i have been having trouble starting my car. most of the time i will try to start it and it will try to start then die. if i hit the gas to rev it to get it going, it dies. mostly all the time it starts on the second try. Some times when im driving and i go to accelerate and often times i will floor it, the car takes awhile to accelerate. the car goes practically no where for a few seconds. the tachometer shows the revs slowly raising then the car finally kicks in and takes off. i recently brought the car in had new spark plugs and k&n oil filter put in. im still having problems. someone please help me!

A fuel pressure test will determine if you have fuel delivery problems. Sounds like a strong possibility.

I had non-motorcraft plugs in mine when I got it and it behaved similarly to what you are dealing with. Once the plugs were replaced with correct motorcraft plugs the problems went away. That might be your issue, how many miles are on it, you prolly need a full 60k.

Follow BlackonBlackATX's advice and pull the codes. It's always a starting point to finding out what's wrong with the car.

Try unplugging your IAC valve when this does this, if it runs good with it unplugged that's probably what you need.
